Composer

Jonathan Kroeger's compositions range from large orchestral and band works to intimate instrumental solos. Regardless of the instrumentation, his music always focuses on an overarching narrative with which audiences can connect. His composition journey began in high school while he was studying voice and piano and continued through his undergrad in voice before becoming his focus during his graduate studies. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music in composition from Bowling Green State University where he studies with Dr. Marilyn Schrude. He has previously studied with Dr. Eliza Brown, Gabrielle Proy, and Wolfram Wagner.

He also takes on a variety of engraving projects including transposing art songs and upload to IMSLP. Recently, he has been engraving the work of classical-era composer Anne Louise Brillon de Jouy.
